BSM established operations in Mexico at the beginning of 2016 through the incorporation of a ship management and crew service centre with offices in Mexico City and Ciudad del Carmen.
Mexico was chosen due to its ideal geographical location within The Americas Continent as well as changes on legislation providing potential opportunities for ship management services.
Since its establishment, the clear focus of BSM Mexico has been on the quality of ship management and crew serving onboard customers’ vessels and the provision of highly educated and properly trained personnel.
Their deep involvement with Offshore Vessels under SMC duties, makes them maintain an OVMSA questionnaire updated for their services with specialized personnel onboard and ashore to implement and maintain high standards and compliance.
BSM Mexico proudly holds the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 as well as ISM and MLC voluntary certification as crewing agency for their dual capacity: SMC and CSC.
BSM Mexico holds and complies as well with all STPS requirements for employment and REPSE registration for specialized services providers.
