The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) represents more than 800 members worldwide in offshore marine engineering, construction and underwater operations. IMCA sets industry standards for safety, quality and environmental responsibility through guidance, advocacy and events. BSM has been an IMCA member since 2015.

The prize recognises the OceanOpt Emissions Management Platform, which delivers end-to-end emissions management, including:

  • Automated reporting: IMO DCS, EU MRV/ETS, FuelEU Maritime
  • Optimization tools: real-time voyage planning, biofuel modelling, CII forecasting
  • Verifier integration: seamless connections with DNV, ABS, and Bureau Veritas
  • Pooling marketplace: collaborative biofuel procurement for broader industry impact

More than 450 IMCA members took part in this year’s Awards.

Gurjit Singh, Business Process Team Leader (Offshore) at BSM Germany, said: “This reflects our commitment to decarbonisation and the hard work of everyone at BSM and OceanOpt.”
