RADIO ACCOUNTING SERVICES
Approved by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and licensed by the Cyprus Ministry of Communications and Works, Telaccount Overseas was established in 1988 as the first Radio Accounting Authority in Cyprus and carries the AAIC identification code – CY03.
It is recognized by all major flag states to act as Accounting Authority, including:
Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Bermuda, Bolivia, Cambodia, Comoros, Cyprus, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Germany, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Latvia, Liberia, Malta, Marshall Islands, Myanmar, Norway, Panama, Singapore, St. Vincent & Grenadines and the United Kingdom.
Telaccount is also recognized to act as:
- PSA (Point of Service Activation) for activation/deactivation of INMARSAT units.
- ISP (INMARSAT Service Provider) for supply of units, specially negotiated tariffs with several Land Earth Stations (LES) and prepaid cards for crew calls.
- IRIDIUM provider for supply of mobile phones, accessories, accounting and tariffs.

- supply and renewal of all ITU publications required to be kept onboard vessels.
- supply and renewal of stationery used for maritime traffic.
