TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT

Job Responsibility:

• Day to day operation of assigned vessels are maintained and operated safely, effectively and reliably including the technical budget
• Make sure that the maintenance planning, execution and control is carried out according to company standards.  Ensure conformance to planned maintenance system
• Ensure vessel follows relevant regulations / requirements
• Monitor survey status of vessels, conduct periodic inspection survey of assigned vessels and follow up on identified defects
• Prepare, supervise, attend, document and follow-up on dry-dockings & repairs, supply of stores and spares
• Enhance customer relationship management
• Assist Fleet Manager / Managing Director in preparing budgets for the vessel and ensure complies with the budgets for the technical operations
• Work with the LPSQ/Training Superintendent to ensure overall safe effective operation of ships
• Other special tasks and projects as per Fleet Manager / Managing Director’s instruction

Requirement:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture
• Chief Engineer’s qualification
• At least 2 years sailing experience as Chief Engineer
• At least 2 years experience from a similar position
• Good spoken / written English is a must
