BSM - New Management Team Structure 2012
I am pleased to advise the following key changes in the BSM Management Team Structure with effect from 1st January 2012.
Mr. David Furnival based in Isle of Man and Mr. Ravi Korivi based in Hong Kong, previously our Group Managing Directors, take up the roles of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer (CMBDO) respectively.
Mr. Paul Varnavas based in Cyprus and Mr. Atul Gupte based in Hong Kong, previously our Group Financial Directors, take up the roles of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Director - Value Added Services (VASs) respectively.
Under the new structure, Mr. Furnival (COO), Mr. Korivi (CMBDO), and Mr. Varnavas (CFO) shall continue to support and guide our Service Delivery Centers (SDCs) in China, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, and the Crew Management Center in Isle of Man as the governance and oversight to ensure customer satisfaction by performance from the perspectives of operational, marketing and business development, and financial respectively, while Mr. Arvind Sharma as the Director – Loss Prevention and HR Marine shall continue to lead our Crew Management Centers and Maritime Training Centers widespread across the East and the West.
Mr. Sebastian von Hardenberg is appointed as the Director – Business Risk cum Executive Assistant to CEO.
Capt. Joseph Cheeran is appointed as the Managing Director of our SDC in China, and Mr. Jan Warmke the Managing Director of our SDC in Germany.
Mr. Krzysztof Kozdron is appointed as the Managing Director of the Schulte Marine Concept, one of the BSM’s Value Added Services, to succeed Mr. J. B. Lee who retired after 31st December 2011.
