We are pleased to advise that the newbuilding 3500 TEU container ship "CAP MANUEL" (MV Günther Schulte) has been successfully delivered in Shanghai to our management and registered, 16th May 2008, at 0930 UTC. The vessel will be sailed under the command of Captain Jacek Szarek, assisted by Chief Engineer Wieslaw Gladkowski.
The vessel was christened by Godmother Tina Lee. MV Günther Schulte is the second of three sister vessels to come under the management of Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (Deutschland). The vessel was delivered to charterers, Hamburg Süd, on the 18th of May.
Many thanks to all of the members of the New Vessel team, particularly Superintendent Romuald Wojtaszczyk, who has been in attendance since the sea assessments.
