BSM Cyprus Tree Planting Day
On Sunday, 8th May, members of Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (Cyprus) along with their families organised a Tree Planting Day which took place at Parekklisia village. They all gathered together at 11.00 hrs geared up for the occasion. The 400 shrubs which have been provided to the Parekklisia community by the forest department were successfully planted by BSM staff and families who willingly volunteered to assist in this event. Everyone, especially the children had a great time as it was also an opportunity to get together and have fun outdoors. This effort demonstrated their ecological sensitivity and it was considered a gesture towards the love for mankind and the environment. The aim of this event was to upgrade the quality of life of our fellow citizens and to pass on the message that we must all contribute towards a safer and cleaner environment. This event was arranged in combination with the BSM Cyprus outing so after the planting everyone drove up to a lovely tavern in the mountains where lunch was served. We all had a wonderful time with our colleagues and families and look forward to assisting and contributing to any future social events which may arise.
