Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (Singapore) Pte Ltd., was formed by merging Hanseatic Shiping Co. (Singapore) Pte Ltd. (founded in 1998) and Eurasia International (Singapore) Ltd. (founded in 2001).
 
At the end of 2006, the Group purchased its own office property in a well-known district of Singapore, with enough room for expansion.

The current fleet is evenly divided between gas carriers, oil and chemical tankers, along with a fleet of modern container vessels. This expansion has been achieved by attention to our clients’ individual requirements, a dedication to providing excellence in all aspects of shipmanagement and the availability of a highly educated and skilled local work force.

We have become one of the centres of excellence for managing tankers and gas carriers over the last few years. As of December 2007, our Singapore Service Delivery Centre is fully able to satisfy the requirements of oil majors and has been regularly and successfully vetted for full regulatory compliance.

Our reputation for ethical, safe and cost-efficient operations has gained the respect of leading figures in the Singapore maritime community and provides an excellent platform from which to develop further commercial opportunities. With the recent initiatives of the Singapore government to provide further incentives for shipping companies to invest in Singapore, we anticipate good growth prospects for this important Asian region.

As well as managing a mixed fleet of vessel types, the Singapore office also provides Agency Services and is the regional centre for Business Acquisition & Customer Relations for the South East Asia region.
