Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement’s Shanghai Service Delivery Centre was initially established in 2002 and has grown to become a crucial part of our Group’s strategy, with a strong emphasis on the recruitment and training of Chinese seafarers and office staff.

We are currently the only major international shipmanager managing vessels from China, a testimony to our forward thinking and our commitment to the Chinese market. With China continuing its onward progress as a major shipbuilder and cargo handler, we see varied and highly attractive business opportunities in this market region.

We have considerably strengthened our resources in China, including the purchase of our own property that will later also house a training centre to train our seafarers and shore staff.

Our Service Delivery Centre has already witnessed rapid growth and has become one of the centres of excellence for Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement’s container fleet.
