Ravi Korivi

Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer

Mr. Korivi graduated as a Marine Engineer from the Directorate of Marine Engineering & Training, Kolkatta, India in 1973 and served at sea for over 18 years, including 11 years as Chief Engineer.

He moved to a shore-based career in 1991 as Technical Superintendent with a Hong Kong-based shipmanager, handling operations and technical management of vessels for 3rd party clients globally.  Subsequently in March 1992, Mr. Korivi joined the Eurasia Group in the Ship Management Division and has since then held various positions in Hong Kong and India, accepting promotion from Technical Superintendent, Fleet Manager, General Manager, Executive Director to Senior Group Vice President.

In January 2008, he was appointed as Group Managing Director of BSM.  Since 1st January 2012, he take up the role of Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer.

Mr. Korivi has made a very significant contribution to the company’s growth over the last 16 years and has led the company’s business development initiatives in the various Asian markets, in particular the Japanese market.  He has extensive experience in all aspects of Shipmanagement , including Operations , Crewing and Manning functions.
