CONTAINER VESSELS, BULK CARRIERS, CAR CARRIERS: MR. RAVI KORIVI

Mr. Korivi graduated as a Marine Engineer from the Directorate of Marine Engineering & Training, Kolkatta, India in 1973 and served at sea for over 18 years, including 11 years as Chief Engineer.

He moved to a shore-based career in 1991 as Technical Superintendent with a Hong Kong-based shipmanager, handling operations and technical management of vessels for 3rd party clients globally. Subsequently, in March 1992 Mr. Korivi joined the Eurasia Group in the Ship Management Division and has since then held various positions in Hong Kong and India, accepting promotion from Technical Superintendent, Fleet Manager, General Manager, Executive Director to Senior Group Vice President, and is now based in Eurasia’s Headquarters in Hong Kong.

Mr. Korivi has made a very significant contribution to Eurasia’s growth over the last 16 years and has led the company’s business development initiatives in the various Asian markets, in particular the Japanese market. He has extensive experience in all aspects of shipmanagement, including crewing and manning functions and has headed the company’s venture into the LNG sector.
